Del Shepherd was one of the first riders to be hooked up on the new Hoffman Bikes UK team back in 2014 when an updated line of bikes and a refreshed launch saw a whole new team thrown together and hit the road for RideUK‘s Ride To Glory, among other projects. Del’s been killing it on the team since then, and recently put together this new Bama – check it out…

What custom mods have you made to your bike?
Well, I just recently put my brake back on my bike…
What’s the newest part on your bike?
My whole brake system is fresh, my old brake hardly even worked!
What’s the oldest part on your bike – any part you just won’t change?
My oldest part is probably my cranks, had them for about two years now. The one thing I wouldn’t change would be going pegless, just doesn’t feel right.
How often do you put together a new set-up?
I normally just add parts and keep changing them over throughout the year.
How good are you at keeping the thing dialled?
In all honestly, I’m pretty terrible, my back wheel is always buckled, can’t help landing sideways all the time, and my brake normally doesn’t work!
What else is new – what are you planning next?
Currently making a slow progress with an edit, thinking about going to NASS, the Baltic Games, and Malta’s International Christmas competition later in the year.
