What custom mods have you made to your bike?
Cut bars down, so I’m running 28” wide, I flip the front-loader upside down as top-loader stems are all too long for my liking. All TLC Ti bolts on bike, and yes I’m running tubless tyre set-up still and I love it.
What’s the newest part on your bike?
Bars, forks, seat and pedals and brake cable…
What’s the oldest part on your bike – any part you just won’t change?
Rear hub, I’ll run that till it’s dead and can’t be repaired any more, and grips are perfect old trusties which I keep using.
How often do you put together a new set-up?
Only when I need to really, but I service my bike often though.
How good are you at keeping the thing dialled?
Would probably give my bike a little check-over once a week, but then a strip-down service once a month, I just like it feeling good.
What else is new – what are you planning next?
So at the back end of march I went to Spain with some good mates and filmed a new section for the new GT video which will be out later, which was just amazing, one of the best places I have ever ridden. I’ve already set a date on going back at the end of summer. Just going to do some fun jams and stuff this year and have some more fun videos planned shortly too, i.e part two for Smoke and Lights, and living here in Devon.
