Dave Young’s Ender Video with DigBMX

Nowhere Fast was a seminal game-changing full length video from a time when BMX videos were few and far between and released on clunky VHS video tape – you might’ve first heard about these new videos in the mags, after waiting weeks for them to arrive via a shop that knew what’s up, and when you finally had your hands on a copy, it WAS ON! Nowhere Fast, released in 2000, was an instant classic – immediately hitting rewind and replay time after time. Dave Young‘s ender was the icing on the cake. DigBMX‘s Ender Ender video catch up filmed and edited by Peter Adam. Enjoy.

“We’ve got a real special one for you today! The name Dave Young may not mean a lot to you if you’re under 20 but what you might not realise is that some of you still trying to do the rail tricks he mastered 15 years ago. Dave Young, amongst others, forged a new path of street riding and when his epic section in ‘Nowhere Fast’ dropped back in 2000 with Slayer’s ‘Raining Blood’ as the soundtrack, it couldn’t have struck the hearts and minds of riders with any more vigour. We caught up with Dave late in 2015 at his Nashville based bar, Crying Wolf to find out more about that huge feeble ender and what steered him away from continuing to ride professionally.” – DigBMX
