Check Out Kye White’s 2018 GT Race Bike

And here’s one of the first bikes off the start gate ahead of this weekend’s first UK National in Manchester – a GT Speed Series XXXL team frame built up for one of the new riders on GT in the UK – Kye Whyte. Fresh out of the workshop at GT‘s UK HQ, time to grab the bike and shoot a few photos. Shoutout to Lloyd at Ison for the new Halo disc wheels, Rob at Moore Large for the Box components, and to Scott at Crucial for the Avian fork and cranks. Note the disc brake equipment. The times, they are a-changin’…

The disc brake mount replaces one of the regular dropouts on the Speed Series (which bolt into the rear triangle of the frame and slot backwards and forwards creating wheel adjustment).
Box tapered bars & stem, Box saddle w/ carbon post… and Avian carbon fork and cranks. These things are BEASTS. Photos: Rob Hedges
Halo supplied the wheelset – Halo BMX disc rear hub, with new Halo Sub 4 rims and MXR tyre. These things are FAST!
