Check out Ride’s Headlights premiere

If you’ve got a new full-length, you HAVE to do a premiere somewhere good: those are the rules. RideBMX just released their new video project titled Headlights and showed it first to a crew at their offices/warehouse/skatepark. Good times.

“Three days before our new full-length video, Headlights, drops on iTunes, we invited anyone and everyone to come ride the park and get a sneak peek at the film. The park got proverbially destroyed, people had a few beers, and I’m pretty damn sure everyone really enjoyed the video…” – RideBMX

Headlights is a full-feature, pure riding film that celebrates BMX at its most core. The brainchild of revered filmmaker Mike Mastroni, Headlights got its namesake from the hundreds of hours spent behind the wheel of his converted Sprinter van as he traveled the country to put together 50 plus minutes of cutting-edge street riding. A true mix of styles gives Headlights a style all its own: refined and spot-minded established pros like Ryan Jordan and Calvin Kosovich, progressive and technical riding from Johnny Raekes and Jake Seeley, and outlandishly creative riding from Tate Roskelly and Shawn “Elf” Walters.

Shot both digitally and with an old Super 8mm film camera, Headlights is an homage to the BMX video heyday while containing all the progression that every full-length BMX video must have.
