GT have tasked one of its riders/designers with the graphics and colour options for its new 2021 GT Performer Boxpalm, and this is it, featuring art by Albert Mercado – and it’s rad as hell. Basically, this is a GT Performer complete bike, but with a slightly shorter frame. GT is back with one of the most iconic names in BMX, the Performer – and this version has a 20.5″ toptube. Perfect.
The Performer is of THE original freestyle bikes has evolved massively and improved along the way, into this, the all-new 2021 bike. For just under £350 you have a setup that is dialed as it gets – and the orange Boxpalm collab model is matched with a host of prime GT BMX parts throughout.
This bike features that 20.5″ toptube, 13.2″ short back end, 75º head angle, steel frame and forkset – this bike is designed and built for the skatepark and street spot and everything in between – finished with GT 4pc bars, a top-load stem and GT’s Supersoft mushroom grips: truly, this bike feels great from the outset.
When you see the cromoly 3pc cranks, 25:9 gearing, 2.3″ GT LP5 logo tires (with that slick sidewall making grinds fast and predictable), sealed Mid BB and more all on a bike costing just £349… you know that the Performer Boxpalm 20.5 is all set.
