In a time before indoor super-smooth 10m start hills, tarmac berms, concrete sections and clip-in pedals and carbon forks… X Games ran a pro-invitational Downhill BMX race as part of its annual X Games shindig. This took place on the hill at Woodward, and was as BMX as it gets. Should racing still be like this today?
